Stephen began practicing yoga (or man stretching he called it back then) in 2010 where he attended just one class for that year. First impressions about yoga were the same as what many beginners feel, this can’t be for me, I am too inflexible /stressed/ busy with work and how can I find the time?
Despite all the doubts, he kept coming back to yoga and eventually developed a daily routine in both mind and body. He studied Hatha Yoga at Yoga Santosha in Calgary, 2018. His learning and practice has been very much centred around the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Stephen says” Being able to find a little peace inside your head with all the thoughts going on takes practice.”
