Yoga Teacher Training

50 Hour Yin Teacher Training

Join us for our 50 Hour Yin Teacher Training Course

Our program will take place over 2 Weekends (Fri, Sat & Sun) at our studio, here in Invermere, British Columbia. Students may attend in person or via live stream on Zoom from the comfort of their home.

In this training you will explore the physical, mental and energetic benefits of Yin yoga.

Immerse yourself into deeper understanding as you broaden the lens in which you can explore yourself. You will learn where yin yoga comes from, how anatomy plays a role in each practitioner’s journey, the difference between compression and tension, yin and yang, and the principles of a yin practice. Meridians, Mindfulness, Breath Work, Mantra and Emotional Body will also be covered in detail.

Whether you wish to use this experience to cultivate an enriched home practice or to become a Yin Yoga Teacher. You will become proficient in the innerworkings of Yin Yoga and how to create sequences that both safely and effectively guide you and your yoga students into a meaningful and functional yin practice.

Each yoga teacher training has something special to offer. An important part of selecting the right training for you is choosing one that aligns with the way you strive to live your life and that focuses on the parts of yoga practice that are inspiring to you personally.

Who Can Take This Program?

This commitment is intended for those who feel called to teach or to deepen their understanding of yoga practice and can be accomplished within a variety of total immersion programs as well as an 10 month weekend immersion program. Our program is open to anyone who is passionate or inquisitive about yoga and is available to all adult ages, levels of practice and bodies.

All students of this program will finish the program with an understanding and experience of what it means to live your yoga.

Learning Objectives

The program starts with a strong foundation in the 8 limbs of yoga , basic and functional anatomy, and dissecting the different physical postures.  This learning will also include how yoga can affect chronic injuries and what techniques and tools are available as a teacher to help those who have ailments.  Subsequently, other subjects include Sequencing, Theming, Energy and how yoga principles can be practically and spiritually applied to all aspects of daily life.

Our program will show you how to teach a mindful and safe class, invite you to further your understanding and share your passion through group discussions on yogic philosophy and help you progress in your own practice.  At the end of the program, you should be able to teach yoga safely, confidently, and engage others in your passion for yoga.
